By accessing or using Toastbox (“the Service”), operated by Toastbox (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Toastbox provides a digital video booth and disposable camera platform for weddings and events. Users can create events, share guest links, and collect video recordings and photos from event attendees.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account or request access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including videos, photos, logos, and text (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than delivering the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you and your event guests upload. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
As an event organizer, you are responsible for informing your guests that their video recordings and photos will be collected and stored through the Service. By sharing a guest link, you represent that you have obtained or will obtain appropriate consent from your guests for the collection and storage of their content. We are not responsible for obtaining consent from your event guests.
Paid plans are one-time purchases per event. All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars. Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase if the Service has not been used at the event. Once an event has taken place and content has been recorded, purchases are non-refundable.
Content storage duration depends on your plan tier. We reserve the right to delete content after the applicable storage period has expired. You are responsible for downloading and backing up your content before the storage period ends. We are not responsible for content lost after the storage period expires.
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of the Service; use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others; resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent; attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of the Service.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toastbox and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of content, data, or profits, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Toastbox, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
